BREW. SIP. REPEAT. is a coffee blog penned by May Juan, whose coffee journey began in 2009 in Dubai, United Arab Emirates.

 

Ever the visionary, May Juan spearheaded the UAE and Middle East's first specialty coffee exhibition and the inaugural UAE Barista Championship in 2009, which sparked a regional passion for coffee. She was also instrumental with and oversaw the staging of the inaugural Philippine National Barista Championship (2013), Philippine National Latte Art Championship (2015), Philippine Brewers Cup (2018), Philippine Coffee in Good Spirits (2018), and Philippine Cup Tasters' Championship (2019). Over the next decade, May led a remarkable 18 World Coffee Events (WCE) - sanctioned national coffee competitions, her dedication significantly elevating the barista craft and specialty coffee profession in the UAE and the Philippines.

An Event Strategist and Specialist by profession, May orchestrates impactful experiences that leave a lasting impression. Yet, her influence extends beyond her real-life profession. Driven by a profound interest in coffee, she maintains a blog, sharing her insights and igniting the same passion for the bean she witnessed at the inaugural specialty coffee exhibition.
